We had a great birthday party today. Thank you to all that shared it with us. There were many festivities including, swimming, bounce house, zip line, and treasure hunt. I was a little nervous about the weather but it turned out just fine. We had so much fun!! Nic looked so cute! Big thank you to my parents for letting us have the party at their house and also to Marc's brothers for making an amazing treasure map and the zip line even bigger!! Love you guys!

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

At 3:20 AM four years ago Nicolas Hansen was born! I can not believe how much he has grown up. When he was born he weighed 9.6 lbs and was 22 in. long, now he is 40 lbs and 42.5 in. tall. His favorite color is red, his favorite animal is a tiger. He loves pancakes, cake, strawberries, tomatoes, ice cream, spaghetti, pizza, chicken nuggets and meat and cheese sandwiches. His favorite song is Happy Birthday to me and he loves to play with daddy and get daddy tickles. It is so much fun to ask him these questions. Some have stayed the same over the years and others have changed. He is such a sweet, full of life boy. He is the best big brother. Marc and I love him so much he is one of the biggest blessings in our lives. Tonight he has requested (with help from daddy) Tony's pizza and chocolate cake. He also would like to swim and go on a bike ride with dad. So now I am off to make a cake and wrap his presents. I shall post birthday pictures after his party on Saturday!

Charlie...

Charlie will be nine months on Tuesday. I can not believe how big she has gotten and how fast she has become mobile. She is crawling, pulling her self up, and furniture walking. She will start out at one side of the couch, walk down it to the easel then over to the door jam. She will then inch her way into our bedroom and get stuck. She screams until I go get her and then it starts all over again. She is so proud of herself. She also loves to take baths. When I start the bath for the older kids she will crawl into the bathroom and scream at me until she gets put in. She really likes to scream at me...She also loves music. She dances whenever the kids sing or there is music on. She also tries to sing along its so cute.
